Deliver robust back-end services powering personalized customer features in the customer-facing application. Operate and maintain services, including on call activities, performance tuning, and security maintenance. Define end-to-end personalization and recommendation architecture, focusing on establishing key interfaces between ML systems vs backend systems vs customer/product front-end ecosystems. Evaluate new technologies and open sources to recommend improvements for applications, services and systems. Evaluate and leverage cloud provider and vendor service offerings to implement scalable and robust production personalization recommendations platform for FBG.
Requirements:
Requires: Master's degree in Computer Science, or closely related and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in backend development. Requires 1 year of core experience in Java, REST, Pang, SQL, AWS, APIs, Git, Agile methodology and Kubernetes. Requires 1 year of personalization-centric experience with data processing and ML technologies: streaming data (e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Spark), NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo DB), experimentation platforms (e.g. Launch Darkly, EPPO), cloud data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks).
