Zero El Inc. seeks a Lead Mechanical Product Engineer: create mechanical engineering system, component designs & prototype builds for critical products + lead team (engineers & technicians).
Requirements:
BS Mechanical, Automotive, or Motorsports Engineering, or Closely related, or foreign equivalent + 60 months experience in mechanical or automotive engineering or related occupation + skills:
- 4 years working with data analysis using software tools including Matlab, Excel, & VBA
- 4 years working with 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks
- 3 years experience test engineering using software & data acquisition hardware (CAN bus protocol & analyzers: PCAN)
- 2 years Project & resource management with software tools Smartsheets or SAP ERP
- Fluid thermal & structural analysis including use of FEA software tools (Hyperworks, StarCCM, SolidWorks)
- Product development process concept through launch & post-delivery support
- Management team of engineers & technicians encountered in a motorsports environment
- Polished interpersonal skills to interface with stakeholders (customers, regulators, investors, & media)
