The Advocates Injury Attorneys is seeking a qualified Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst for a full-time, onsite position in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of medical documentation used in personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
Job Duties include analyzing medical records for insurance claims, legal proceedings, and malpractice cases; evaluating workers' compensation cases, disability ratings, and work releases; ensuring HIPAA compliance and quality control of medical documentation; providing expert assessments of appropriate treatment; collaborating with attorneys, medical professionals, and internal teams; communicating clearly through reports and presentations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3 years of experience in HIM, medical records analysis, or similar role
- Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Skills:
- Spanish language proficiency (reading, writing, translating medical records)
- Experience with HIPAA and data privacy standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Position Details:

- Salary: $85,155/year
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (on-site)
