Assist in developing demand forecasts & analyzing variances between actuals & forecasts; Review & analyze financial statements & models to identify discrepancies & provide actionable insights to management; Enter & process invoices & payments in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy & attaching supporting documentation before presenting for approval; Support the preparation of balance sheet workpapers, including schedules for fixed assets, gift card liabilities, prepaids, accrued liabilities, & debts; Collaborate with operations & purchasing teams to maintain accurate pricing in the inventory system; Perform margin analyses on cost of goods sold (COGS) accounts & investigate significant variances; Conduct monthly vendor statement reconciliations to ensure timely payments & accurate ledger maintenance; Work with the corporate team to follow up on past-due invoices & regularly report on open accounts receivable.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 24 months of work experience in General accounting / finance or related positions. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree plus 24 months of work experience, we also accept a Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced Knowledge in Excel.
