Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Education requires a Ph.D. in Education or related field. Candidates must have at least three peer-reviewed publications demonstrating a research agenda in education related to K-12 multilingual learners, and 24 months of higher education teaching experience (which may be satisfied through employment, training, or an academic program).
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to K-12 language education
- Conducting research on language education and multilingual learners
- Developing community partnerships for teacher preparation and research
- Advising, mentoring, and supervising graduate students
- Providing service to the department, college, and University
