Provide consultation & technical direction on translating business requirements & functional specifications into logical program designs. Serve as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation & maintenance of business & enterprise software solutions. Personally develop & deliver code modules, stable application systems, & integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments. Support SIT & UAT for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field. Must have 5+ years of progressive experience in database administration or IT Infrastructure positions performing/utilizing the following:
- Working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
- Supporting DBMS including MySQL & PostgreSQL
- Cloud environments (including AWS) & databases (including Aurora) in the cloud environment
- Performing MySQL database administration in complex environments including backups & monitoring
- Performing PostgreSQL database administration backups & monitoring
- Writing & optimizing SQL statements
- Demonstrating expertise with Ansible automation
Position Details:
Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Charlotte, NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte, NC regularly for meetings & reviews with manager & project teams within 24-hours' notice.
