Responsible for creating software designs for existing software requirements & implementing new features for new & existing designs, as well as supporting existing software & providing guidance & support to other developers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical field
- 4 years experience as a Software Developer or related occupation
- Experience in:
- Analytics
- Troubleshooting
- SDLC best practices & project methodologies
- Writing secure web service endpoints & web pages
- Relational databases, specifically MySQL (or MariaDB)
- Core Java & JSP
- SQL
- Writing complex/advanced queries
- Javascript & Ajax/jQuery
- Software design principles & best practices
- HTML & CSS
- Configuring & managing Apache Tomcat
- Deploying web applications (war)
- OWASP secure programming best practices
- Reading, analyzing, & interpreting generic business procedures, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Writing reports & business correspondence
- Advanced quantitative skills
- Solving practical problems
- Dealing with a variety of concurrent variables in situations with limited standardization
- Interpreting various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Database software
- Internet software
- Spreadsheet software
- Word processing software
