Technology Full Time Infrastructure Programmer- New York, NY- Evaluate business unit requests for new or modified components for our low-latency, blended hardware & software trading system. Lead technical direction, design, development, training, & discussions regarding software & hardware components for the trading system. Develop & maintain proprietary software tools in C++ & Python for trading system monitoring. Troubleshoot systems in software & hardware in order to resolve operational issues.
Requirements:
Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in the position offered, as a Core Developer, or related experience. All required experience must have included:
- Experience developing & maintaining software tools in C++ and Python to monitor & control a low-latency blended hardware & software trading system
- Experience with troubleshooting systems in software & hardware to resolve operational issues
- Experience producing testing harnesses & processes in C++ and Python
Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with required skills.
