Finance Manager, Technical Accounting Manager, Technical Accounting with Spotify USA, Inc. NY, NY location. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Spotify office in NY, NY.
Support accurate & timely reporting of Spotify's public company financial statements in accordance with IFRS & SOX, with particular focus on ensuring appropriate accounting conclusions are reached for revenue contracts across all of Spotify's revenue streams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field & 7 years of experience in the job offered or related role. In lieu of a 4-year Bachelor's degree, employer will accept a 3-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. or foreign university.
Must have 7 years of experience with: implementing or auditing financial internal controls, including process design & control operating effectiveness, for a multinational company or subsidiary.
Must have 6 years of experience with: reviewing complex revenue contracts or other legal documents & evaluating business and accounting implications for internal company or as part of audit team.
Must have an active US CPA license or have a foreign equivalent active accounting license or designation issued by a foreign government or foreign professional accounting body.
