Manage planning & completion of Packaging Engineering projects for heart failure treatment medical devices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Packaging Science/Engineering or in closely related field of study with minimum 5 years of related progressive professional engineering experience in:
(1) Working with sterilized medical device products, microbiology, medical device packaging testing, & ASTM F88 & ISO 11607;
(2) Designing & developing packaging, packaging process sustaining, labeling processes, documentation, tooling, & fixtures to enhance productivity & product quality;
(3) Preparing, reviewing, & approving Quality Plans, Design Change Plans, Master Validation Plans, protocols, testing samples, & written reports;
(4) Reading & creating engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, & schematics;
(5) Ensuring medical device manufacturing compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs);
(6) Supporting procurement & materials selection by providing input on packaging materials & supplier processes.
Full time position, 40 hours per week.
