Support prototype & manufacturing instrument builds & feedback for improvements; troubleshooting on complex mechanical, electrical, & fluidics systems; develop automated scripts to assess hardware consistency & system performance; conduct testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering or physics
- 18-month work experience as a mechanical engineering or related field
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C#, Python
- Familiarity with 3D CAD design software, such as SOLIDWORKS
- Experience with liquid handlers & automated robotic systems used for biology
- Knowledge in electromechanical system testing such as test design, fixture design
- Experience in integrating hardware, mechanical, & software components of complex automated systems
