Requirements:
- Juris Doctor
- License to Practice Law in Massachusetts
- Prior experience must include:
- 1 year of experience drafting legally sound documents (including contracts & agreements)
- Effectively communicating complex legal concepts in writing
- Analyzing case facts, legal precedents, & client objectives to craft effective & tailored legal documents
- Conducting legal research to ensure draft compliance with current laws
- Staying abreast of evolving legal precedents & financial regulations
- Paying attention to specifics of language, terms, & conditions to ensure accuracy & prevent misunderstandings or legal loopholes
- Presenting legal arguments with clarity & persuasion, both in written & verbal form
- Actively listening & addressing client needs
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Experience with financial law, including securities regulation, corporate finance, & banking law
- Ability to apply knowledge to complex transactions & compliance issues
- Experience negotiating terms & conditions of transactions to protect clients' interests
