Account-able for sales growth & customer acquisition within a defined portfolio of Global Accounts. Serve as primary point of contact for Interface's large, global clients & responsible for development & implementation of strategies to secure & optimize sales. Develop & execute account based plans managing a personal account portfolio of 10-20 high potential accounts & achieve growth & business goals.
Apply Knowledge in the following: Product & equipment (tufting machines); Products, systems (industry certification like Green Label + (Carpet & Rug Institute)), WELL (Green Building Initiative), LEED (US Green Building Council); Products & systems (ANSI or ASTM); Systems (ANSI, ASTM); Product: Ability to read & understand architectural drawings (take offs). May work remotely/telecommute up to 50%.
Requirements:
Requires BA or FDE in Business, Marketing or related field & 4 years experience within commercial flooring, textiles, design or furniture industry with proven success of client acquisition in repeat business environment & activation of those clients to generate the targeted revenue & margin returns; 3 years of demonstrable track record of account development within a portfolio of large customers across locations & regions; 3 years detailed account planning & management process & systems; 3 years contributing to strategic direction & process improvement within a dynamic business development organization; 2 years understanding current procurement practices eg, e bidding, reverse auctions, RFP's, tendering, with experience in leading & closing submissions; 3 years working collaboratively to achieve goals & objectives utilizing excellent verbal & written communication skills. Requires domestic travel up to 40%.
