Execute tasks to support development & evaluation of novel small molecules for clinical drug candidates in oncology. Perform cell culture & assays including: DNA/RNA protein purification, siRNA/CRISPR knockdowns, Lentiviral transfections, immunoprecipitation, WES, western blot, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, quantitative PCR, protein degradation & colorimetric assays. Collect, analyze, & summarize data for presentations & reports.
Requirements:
Must have a Master's in Cellular or Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field & 2 years of experience as a Scientist performing:
(a) molecular cellular biology techniques in cell culture
(b) western blotting, immunoprecipitation, WES, or ELISA
(c) DNA/RNA Isolation, RT-PCR, separation techniques for primary cells
(d) gene expression analysis
Additionally, must have 1 year experience:
(1) manipulating gene/protein expression in cancer cell types (such as transduction of primary cells, siRNA or CRISPR knockdown)
(2) Using biological data analysis software tools such as Graph Pad Prism & computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
Experience may be gained concurrently.
