Experienced Assurance Manager @ BDO USA, P.C. (San Francisco, CA) F/T. Supervise multiple client audit engagements by advising clients on various economic & regulatory risks, formulating audit plans & answering complex questions involving GAAP & GAAS. Domestic travel required up to 30% of time to visit unanticipated client sites & BDO office locations internally.
Requirements:
Masters (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance or related plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or as an Auditor, or related. Alternatively, the ER will accept a Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance or related & 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as an Auditor, or related. Must have experience in each: Resolving complex accounting issues; Applying GAAS, GAAP, SEC, & PCAOB reporting rules; Public accounting; Reviewing engagement profitability, including billings & collections; Microsoft Office products, including Windows, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; & using various assurance applications & research tools. Must have CPA OR sufficient education/experience requirement (as determined by state Board of Accounting) to receive CPA within 24 months of hire or permanent. ER will accept any stable combination of education, training or experience.
