As part of the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) Asia Pacific Sales and Japan sales business of global investments in the Asia-Pacific region, focus on trading, sales, and structuring products for local markets in Asia. Provide financial services for a customer base that is 90% Japanese speaking and conduct trading calls in Japanese with Japanese client base, the majority of whom are in Japan.
Requirements:
Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, International Studies or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, International Studies or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with Master's OR five (5) years with Bachelor's with the following: experience in financial markets, including bond sector; integrated fundamental macroeconomic data, geopolitical events, and quantitative financial modeling to predict market trends and provide fixed-income trading strategies to institutional clients; fixed income derivative markets for interest rate product (IRP) structures; IRP Trading platforms and multi-dealer platform providers to guide clients regarding features and constraints of each platform, including single-dealer and multi-dealer platforms, Request for quote (RFQ), streaming, and algo execution; All operational aspects of the IRP trade life cycles; working within regulatory frameworks around IRP trading, including experience with required documents for trading instruments, regulations governing instruments, and acceptable execution methods for different instruments; and communicating with Japanese executives regarding market trends, and facilitating business relationships with Japanese brokers to expand and maintain clientele.
