Saks & Company LLC seeks Sr. Database Administrator, Oracle EBS in New York, NY to perform EBS app installation, maintenance, & admin on version 11 & R12.
Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field & 5 years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: installing E-business suite apps from scratch while migrating EBS 11i environment; performing EBS app & oracle database software installation & clone apps while migrating data; applying quarterly & year-end maintenance patches, bug fixes, & Critical Vulnerability Updates (CVU) patches; applying Vertex tax patches on non-production systems & migrate patches to production; implementing single sign on by integrating Oracle OID, OIM with EBS app which enables user password less login to EBS self-service apps; migrating databases from on-premises to AWS RDS & Azure cloud for modernization; utilizing terraform to provision cloud database resources including RDS for AWS, SQL Managed Instance for Azure; using ansible playbooks to automate installation of oracle software 11g, 12c, 19c versions for consistency of environment; standardizing scripts for database maintenance activities & check-in in Github repository; & supporting Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MongoDB, Postgres, Teradata technologies as used by app team. Required skills: E-Business Suite, Single Sign-on (SSO), SQL, Oracle Identity Manager, Windows Azure, IBM DB2, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Teradata. Telecommuting and/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting must report to work site. Full Time, 40 hour/week.
