Design & Development: a) Interact w/ traders & quant researchers: Analyze new ideas & reqs for development; b) Maintain & improve trading app: New features, algorithms, enhancement of existing apps, optimization for speed, bug corrections; & c) Implement algorithms in line w/ Compliance & Regulations (e.g. RegNMS, RegSHO, etc.).
Position reqs a Master's deg (US or For Equiv) in Comp Sci, Comp Eng, Financial Eng, or rel & 5 yrs of exp w/ Fin or Software Development. Must have 5 yrs of exp w/: Prog using C++98, C++11, C++14, & C++17 standard; & Prog using BOOST C++ libraries. Must have 3 yrs of exp w/: Prog using Python 2.7 & Python 3.9; Performing analytics & improving query proc w/Oracle PL/SQL on Oracle database version 12 & 19; Progr using Java11 w/ Spring Boot / WildFly extension; Designing & Tuning Low Latency Distributed Systems; & Expert understanding in Financial Product Performance (Profit & Loss, Sharpe, Slippage) & Custom Index Replication or Option Greeks.
*Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in NY/NJ Area.
