Lead a team or teams responsible for technology solutions that meet business needs & satisfy risk & operational requirements of the Tech organization. Leverage emerging technologies & automation to improve business efficiencies, enhance speed-to-market of solution delivery & support business & enterprise transformation & optimization. Develop departmental plans, including business, financial, production and/or organizational priorities based on IT & focuses on long-term operations planning & performance & broader business objectives & priorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field. Must have 8 years of progressive experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions. Must have at least 5 years of experience performing the following: Applying in-depth knowledge in information systems & understanding of key business processes & competitive strategies related to the IT function to identify, apply & implement IT best practices; Applying broad functional knowledge in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation & deployment of applications; Planning & managing projects & solving complex problems by applying best practice; Providing direction & mentor less experienced teammates; & Utilizing experience with: Rally, Jira; Azure DevOps; Agile & Waterfall SDLC; Microservices Architecture; Modular Monolithic Architecture; Messaging: MQ & Kafka; Relational Databases, including IBM-IMS, IBM-DB2, Oracle, SQL & MySQL; NoSQL Database, including Redis & Dynamo; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services, including API Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Lambda, Amazon CloudWatch; SOAP UI; SAML; Java; Microsoft Office; & Splunk. Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings & reviews with manager & project teams within 24-hours' notice.
