Requirements:
Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field + 3 years of experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the following: handling/leading data conversions from one processor to another processor; in-depth knowledge in information systems & ability to identify, apply, & implement IT best practices; understanding of key business processes & competitive strategies related to the IT function; planning & managing projects & solving complex problems by applying best practices; providing direction & mentoring less experienced teammates; working w/ Business & Operations to refine requirements & design solutions that best fit Banking systems; solid knowledge of Android UI components designs & development (Kotlin, jetpack compose, & build tools); working w/ cross work streams to build applications that are accessible & responsive; working on Feasibility study reports to determine practicality, strength & weaknesses of proposed projects, challenges that could arise in coming phases of projects, & identifying potential solutions resulting from projects; & utilizing experience w/ below technologies to solve complex business requirements: Kotlin; Android Studio; Emulator; Jetpack Components; Object Oriented Programming; Architecture & Design Patterns (MVC, MVI & MVVM); Networking libraries; Custom, Recycler & Web Views; Firebase Framework; REST APIs; JSON & XML; Java; Postman; SOAPUI; GIT & Gitlab; SpringBoot; & understanding of AWS cloud services. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field + 1 year of experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the aforementioned.
Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Charlotte, NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte, NC regularly for meetings & reviews w/ manager & project teams within 24-hours' notice.
