Responsibilities include: Design, build, & maintain core libraries, frameworks, & developer tools used across the engineering organization; Own & improve developer infrastructure, used for building & testing Android Automotive OS (AAOS); Operate & maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS & Android platform development, ensuring reliability, scalability, & security; Develop & maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, & quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases; Collaborate with Android, platform, & application engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, & release workflows; Establish best practices, standards, & well-defined development paths for tooling & infrastructure across teams; Act as the primary technical owner for all developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent, + 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 1 year's experience working at an automotive technology company, & 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, gRPC/Protocol buffers.
