Requirements:
Master's in Stats, Ops Research, Comp Sci, Informatics, Mech. Eng, Eng, Applied Math, Econ or related (willing to accept the foreign education equivalent) + 7 yrs experience in a Data Scientist-related occupation solving complex problems in operations research & developing strategies for large-scale supply chain, transportation & logistics networks.
Required experience: demonstrated expertise performing qualitative, economic & numerical analysis of performance of large-scale systems under uncertainty using statistical & optimization tools such as Python, R and Xpress/Gurobi/CPLEX to determine optimal & heuristic solution strategies for optimization problems; applying theories of math optimization including linear programming, combinatorial optimization, integer programming, dynamic programming, network flows & algorithms to design optimized or new optimal solution methodologies to be used by in-house decision support tools & software; developing Discrete Event & Agent-Based simulation models for validating optimization solutions & improving operational confidence; translating complex analyses into actionable insights, advocating for advanced methodologies w/stakeholders & contributing to the development of innovative patents & publications.
