Job Duties: Applying knowledge of business analytics to conduct in-depth research and analysis to assess the viability of new programs, facilities, or initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations. Use business analytics to leverage data contained in marketing databases, synthesize findings, and prepare high-quality reports, visualizations, and executive summaries. Applying principles of data analysis, analyzing healthcare data, conducting research on benchmarking, consumer opinions regarding community health, surveys, and marketing strategies. Conduct economic impact analysis for multiple universities and economic development initiatives, measuring direct, indirect, and induced impacts on employment, labor income, economic output, and state and local tax revenues. Analyze institutional operations, capital investments, research activity, athletics, and affiliated organizations, as well as student and visitor spending, to quantify contributions to regional and state economies. Evaluate long-term workforce and economic development impacts, including alumni employment, talent retention, industry partnerships, and the role of universities as anchor institutions supporting regional innovation and economic growth. Translate complex economic modeling and data analysis into clear, data driven reports and presentations to inform strategic planning, policy discussions, and stakeholder engagement. Research conditions in community healthcare and related markets. Gather information to determine potential needs and methods of healthcare outreach and services delivery in community health setting. Analyze data on community health demographics, preferences, needs, and health habits to identify needs for planning purposes, measuring and assessing community healthcare needs. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for analyzing applicable marketing data. Measure the effectiveness of outreach healthcare programs, repeat economic studies and planning strategies. Analyze data on other organizations, universities, other community health systems, use data analysis for benchmarking, analyze their prices, sales, and method of outreach and providing health services. Monitor industry statistics and follow industry market trends.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, data science, information studies, or directly related field; higher degree acceptable.
Minimum Experience Requirement: 2+ years experience in market research or market analysis.
