Develop & manage lab scale tests to categorize ores & analyze processing options.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in any metallurgical engineering and mineral processing role in the mining industry. 5 years of experience with large-scale comminution circuits for mining operations. 5 years of experience with grinding mill setups & operations at mining sites. 5 years of experience in metallurgical laboratory work performing grinding testing including Work Index, Abrasion Index, & mineral preparation; & flotation testing focused on reagent screening, optimal reagent dosage, and evaluating flotation conditions. 5 years of experience managing vendor relationships in the mining industry. Demonstrated knowledge of grinding media, including SAG (semi-autogenous grinding) balls, & ball milling.
Position Details:
Position based in Tucson, AZ. Work from home available from any location within normal commuting distance from Tucson, AZ. Will be required to visit domestic and international client sites 80% of the time.
