Act as a data engineering expert & partner to other technology teams & data consumers in controlling complexity & cost of the data platform.
Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study & 5 years of experience at a senior level, such as Technical Lead or Lead Engineer involving Data Engineering with Design, Architecture, Development & Application Ownership. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: writing, optimizing & analyzing SQLs; interpreting complex data requirements & architect solutions; program in Shell, Perl or Python, Spark, MPP databases, ETL tools & data warehouse; CI/CD with Bitbucket or GitHub; working closely with a business team; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes & workflow covering both Agile & Waterfall methodologies; Data Engineering on large scale platforms; leading multiple projects with colleagues & execution partners from a technology perspective; Application Management; & leading Data Migration projects.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week. The pay for this position is $160,826 to $225,700/year. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skill, experience & location.
