Requirements:
Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field. Must have 4 years of experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the following: in-depth knowledge in information systems & ability to identify, apply, & implement IT best practices; understanding of key business processes & competitive strategies related to the IT function; planning & managing projects & solving complex problems by applying best practices; providing direction & mentoring less experienced teammates; working with Business Operations to refine requirements & design solutions; solid knowledge of relational database design & development (SQL, stored procedures, & data modeling); working with cross work streams to standardize data definitions, rules, access policies & appropriate data encryption techniques to maintain data quality, accessibility & reliability of data systems; working on Feasibility study reports to determine practicality, strength & weaknesses of proposed projects, challenges that could arise in coming phases of projects, & identifying potential solutions; & utilizing experience with: Banking Systems; JCL; IMS DB2 to handle data conversion activities; IBM Tools: ISPF, IBM File Manager, NDM, & ConnectDirect; IBM Utilities; COBOL; DB2; CICS; VSAM; SQL; SAS; CA-ESP; CA-WA Workstation; File Manager, DB2 Workstation; File Manager, DB2 Visualizer, SoapUI; Unix; & z/OS Connect, Dynatrace. Position may be eligible to work in a hybrid remote model & is based out of & reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA.
