Management of capital improvement, restoration & historic preservation projects. Administer exterior repair programs for residential high-rise co-ops, condos, townhouses, hotels and commercial office buildings including landmarks. Evaluate deficiencies & develop renovation & repair recommendations. Review documents, including prior architecture reports, repair history, original building blueprints & specifications. Recommend & administer testing procedures to determine causes of failure of building components of historic & modern buildings. Coordinate project documents & prepare comprehensive construction documents, project specifications & cost estimates. Assist client during negotiations to secure optimum & best price from most suitable contractor. 40hrs/wk.
Required: Master degree in Architecture + 2yrs experience as Project Manager or Architect. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable.
