Responsible to implement/maintain Thales systems developing and maintaining existing tools using Java/Python/.NET used on production on daily work, machine updates and server configurations/versions, systems setups, according to Thales' Personalization standards, troubleshooting data processing and implement new solutions identifying gaps and improvements, ISO specifications and is PCI-CP (VISA/MC) compliant.
• Support/update Personalization machines software, certain features of their hardware, and how they operate. These systems are compiled but not limited to data processing servers, databases servers, card personalization platforms and cryptographic servers.
• Support the other Thales Teams to test, integrate and validate proprietary Personalization applications in a testing and production environment.
• Support/implement Thales' Personalization ISO specifications and is PCI-CP (VISA/MC) compliant. Working closely with the IT manager and the Security manager to ensure the highest level of security.
• Define/implement process and procedures that will improve production efficiency.
• Setup/support Thales Servers software, certain features of their hardware, and how they operate.
• Create scripts/automate tasks and monitor production software/servers.
• Research for new solutions to fix frequent issues.
• Understand new technologies and products, through training and self-study of specifications and documentation.
• Provide support and training to the team and other teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration into the current production process.
• Ensuring thorough testing of new data processing software and smart personalization scripts provided by the regional development and R&D team when major changes occur.
• Troubleshoot data processing providing root cause analysis and perform software and scripts when needed to improve the process.
• Database installation/support.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience.
Requires 3 years of experience in the following:
• Experience with Installation/Configuration of Key Management System (KMS) and Hardware Security Module (HSM).
• Experience with management of Secure Perso Tools (SPTools) to implement security features, including cryptography, key management, authentication, log and access control.
• Experience with EMV personalization, including troubleshooting, performance and system analysis.
• Experience with Installation/Configuration, including Platform software to load personalization files and scripts and connect with personalization machines, Operas software to make connection with KMS servers and DLL files, and Generic Perso Controller (GPC).
• Experience with Datacard machine (MX6000/6100 / DC9000/DX5100), including installation and configuration of Smart readers (Smartware and National Instruments) and updating firmware/license, and installing Smartcard Personalisation Interpreter (SPI) to perform the programming of the cards.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 server administrator.
• Experience with configuration of Workestra server for data processing of customer data to personalize smartcards.
• Experience with MSSQL, Oracle, C#, C++, Java, Python, and Automate.
• Experience with programming with APDU commands, using a command-response pair format where a command APDU is sent by the reader and a response APDU is sent back by the card.
• Experience with Audit ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 (Maintenance, PCI audit support).
Telecommuting is permitted. International Travel required 2-3 times a year.
