Remitly, Inc. seeks a Manager, Engineering to lead the development of automation tools and deployment strategies to ensure efficient and secure software delivery with minimal operational overhead.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Eng, Inf Technology, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressive responsibility experience with developing reliable & scalable apps & services. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: developing reliable & scalable apps & services on private data centers; launching digital features & scalable infrastructure that meets customer needs; developing enhanced user experiences by redesigning workflows, prototyping new features, & ensuring continuous integration; functional & automated integration testing; structuring & scaling Agile development processes; leading technical teams, including recruiting strategy, sourcing, structuring loops, interviewing, & closing candidates; mentoring engineers on technical skills through design & code review, & leading performance evaluation & career development; providing technical leadership & project management for all aspects of the software development life cycle; & Confluence, Github, Java, JIRA, Jenkins, object-oriented programming languages, service-oriented architecture, & distributed programming.
Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval.
