Job Duties:
• Be a technical lead in building systems to process data volume to empower all consumers.
• Participate in the design and development across the team's various real-time data pipelines and related systems for data delivery.
• Act as a subject matter expert on building microservices and stream processing pipelines.
• Develop backend application logic and data processing functionality.
• Provide design reviews and guidance to other engineers.
• Define new features/architectures and suggest the usage of new/alternate systems to improve productivity and workflow within the broader operational context.
• Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to maximize velocity and increase quality.
• Participate in scoping efforts involved in large projects that involve many teams/engineers.
• Define and influence cross-team roadmaps to prevent future roadblocks.
• Inspire teammates through engineering excellence and mentoring while being able to communicate problems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
