Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design, develop and maintain Procore's spatial based experiences. Perform on-call duty rotation (of one week duration). Conduct code reviews and design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Collaborate with product, design and customer support teams to disambiguate requirements and propose simple/innovative solutions that meet business/customer needs. Influence team and organization 1-year and 3-year technical strategy. Telecommuting permitted.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:
- Working with Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres, Java, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Kubernetes, Kafka and related web infrastructure technologies
- Working with software, platforms, and infrastructure at scale
- Leading/contributing to large engineering initiative or technology change
- Debugging skills such as identifying, isolating, and fixing errors (bugs) in code
- Documenting and bringing team clarity to complex solutions.
