Duties:
Accountable for leading all design, best practice architecture, and integration including development and configuration efforts for the corporate and franchisee-facing applications; responsible for administration, user provisioning, configuring, performance, and maintenance of WebLogic/middle-tier server and SOA tech stacks; accountable for translating functional specifications into technical designs, managing Unit testing, Regression, and Integration/QA testing; work with the Security group to ensure external-facing corporate and franchisee-facing applications and data are in full compliance; responsible for technical vendor relationships, day-to-day escalations, and issues resolution with 3rd party vendors and development teams; accountable for maintaining interfaces between 3rd party vendor software and corporate systems written in Java, Angular JS, ADF, and .NET; responsible for prioritizing break-fix/enhancement requests with Product Managers and Business Leads to ensure delivery of prioritized requests in a timely manner; responsible for ensuring production SLAs are met; provide performance tuning as necessary; responsible for migrating Change Controls; responsible for creating/maintaining ongoing documentation for existing and new break-fix/enhancements; provide technical support for Oracle Service Bus, working with support vendor; participate in the initiation and planning phases by gathering project data and requirements and providing input on project activities and timing as assigned; utilize project management tools and disciplines to complete project assignments and meet deadlines; help identify and resolve project-related risks and issues as assigned; participate in the evaluation of the project by giving input for post-project evaluations and lessons learned; and work with various IT Teams including PMO, Engineering, Restaurant Systems, Security, Enterprise Risk Management, Other Architecture team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 7 years of progressive experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation.
Requires experience with each of the following: Executing end-to-end scalable solution designs; developing integration architecture; designing and developing database packages using PL/SQL; writing complex SQL queries for data manipulation, retrieval, and reporting; developing web applications using Angular; developing enterprise applications, microservices, and web APIs using Java with the Spring Boot framework; configuring and maintaining WebLogic and JBOSS servers; designing and developing seamless integrations using Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
40 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
