Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Credit Karma and our partners. Identify data sets needed to generate insights, and identify metrics needed to measure segments of Credit Karma's user-base or design new metrics if the current set does not identify the desired signals. Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve the member experience and drive revenue growth. Design tests and analyze data to support product launches, develop product improvements, and inform product roadmaps. Develop learning agendas and test plans to facilitate agile, data-driven decision making. Analyze the performance of existing product features to identify areas for opportunity. Develop hypotheses on how new product features will affect the user experience. Launch and analyze A/B test and measure impact to the Credit Karma ecosystem. Manage end-to-end analytic work streams, define success and performance metrics, and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional groups and partners. Develop and test hypotheses about factors that affect business performance. Define Key Performance Indicators to measure company progress against key initiatives. Conduct analysis to determine current performance of existing product features and identify largest areas of opportunity. Collaborate with engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure new products and tests are properly tracked. Partner with engineering to tag defined actions within the underlying code of the website/application. Work with business intelligence to define data structure and how it will flow into our data warehouse for later analysis. Design and execute tests to analyze tracking performance. Build Looker dashboards to ensure repeatability of data exploration.
May telecommute from within normal commuting distance of the Charlotte, NC office up to 2 days per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field, plus 2 years of work experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires academic training or work experience in each of the following:
Data Analysis & Analytics including large-scale internal and external datasets to generate business insights and recommendations.
SQL & Cloud Data Warehouses including SQL-based data querying and analysis using Google BigQuery and business intelligence tools to identify trends, define metrics, and measure performance.
Statistical Analysis & Experimentation including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, p-values, and statistical inference to evaluate product and business impact.
Python & Data Processing including Python and big data workflow tools to analyze datasets and support analytical pipelines.
Data Visualization & Reporting including business intelligence tools and presentation software to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
