Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field. 2 years' experience applying scientific & engineering principles & practices to perform technical services & support on/for scientific instrumentation & industrial control systems, including some solid experience in each: prototype design & development of complex articulated mechanical assemblies & systems using SolidWorks or SolidEdge; evaluating & troubleshooting sophisticated electro-mechanical, power delivery systems; magnetic field computation modeling & simulation; conducting failure & root cause analysis; structural & metal frame design; creating technical documentation & failure reports; AutoCAD; conducting statistical analysis using MATLAB & JMP; Python. Expertise in 3D printer usage, troubleshooting & maintenance. Advanced skills in: load analysis, welding fastening & joining; assembling, maintaining & operating industrial computer numerically controlled metal cutting machinery.
