Responsibilities:
Resp for applying scientific techniques to consumer products; working on next generation search experiments, making & matching algorithms & end-to-end hiring experience for users of proprietary marketplace; architecting & deploying machine learning systems & algorithms to production; designing & executing experiments; maintaining balance b/n speed of execution & scientific rigor when designing solutions; technical mentorship of other applied scientists.
Requirements:
BS in Comp Sci, Data Sci, Math or rel fld +3 yrs of work exp in job off or rel. Must know (thru academic training or work exp) Python, Machine Learning, CS Algorithms, Data Sci, Probability; scripting/programming languages Perl, Python, PHP, Java, VB, C#, R in developing solutions; developing compiling data visualizations, dashboards, tools & utilities using Open Source technologies Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring, jQuery, D3, React.js; lg volms of data; extracts & manipulates lg datasets using standard tools, such as Python, Hadoop, R, SQL, Spark; analyzing & cleaning data needed for various data sci projects; design, development, implementation & management of data sources, modeling techniques & implementation methodologies, utilizing basic statistical models, algorithms & machine learning models in designing the solution; & developing data sources & data architectures to address business requirements, exploring & implementing data centric technologies, Hadoop/YARN Eco System.
Compensation and Work Location:
May WFH anywhere in continental U.S. Actual off salaries will vary based on factors, such as job lvl, qualifications, skills, competencies & proficiency for role.
