Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Product Engineer in Jersey City, NJ.
Duties:
(1) System Support and Availability: Ensure the functionality and availability of wcPrism systems and their suite of applications by providing timely and effective technical support to product owners and clients. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues and business challenges reported by product owners, leveraging technical expertise and WCIO/IAIABC standards and reporting guidelines along with knowledge of workers compensation policy, claims, and financial data sources. Identify and implement the most efficient solutions to address data, application, and system-related problems. Monitor and maintain system components and programs to ensure continued system availability and performance. Assist product owners by conducting research, executing complex data queries, and supporting operational activities.
(2) System Development and Enhancement: Develop and enhance wcPrism systems and applications in alignment with WCIO/IAIABC reporting guidelines, industry standards and emerging trends to meet evolving business needs. Translate business requirements and challenges into actionable technical specifications and solutions for implementation. Act as a liaison between product owners and the software developers to facilitate clear and effective communication of system specifications. Identify system problems and recommend appropriate software and hardware modifications to resolve them. Continuously improve and expand wcPrism systems by adding new features and capabilities in response to customer demands, business growth and complexities in workers compensation policy, claims, and financial data sources.
(3) Create and maintain documentation of processes, system design and procedures of wcPrism systems that capture system requirements, state regulations, and essential business information. Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week. Must work at employer's office in Jersey City, NJ other days.
