Define connected solutions for B2B & B2C products. Design, develop & implement application level firmware solutions. Create new designs; socialize expertise & train developers. Support platform design. Provide peer review. Support defining & developing functional development processes. Oversee assignment of projects. Analyze, troubleshoot, & resolve firmware defects. Comply w/ security requirements set forth by the Info Security team & the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities, & Authorities Doc found in the ISMS Doc Library. Maintain professional & technical knowledge. Telecommuting allowed. < 10% domestic & international travel required.
Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Firmware Engineer, Computer Engineer, or related position. Required skills: Coding on Bare metal & RTOS development environments; I2C, SPI, & UART communication; C or C++ programming language; Microcontroller Board bring up & chip level hardware debugging.
