Duties:
Integrate the organization's technologies and provide support to functional areas by creating and communicating solutions to complex problems and projects. Capture and effectively communicate in-depth technical knowledge. Conceptualize, drive, and execute solutions to the most complex problems. Identify opportunities and own improvements to technologies and IT processes. Lead the integration of new technologies or IT initiatives, including large projects. Maintain, apply, and teach IT expertise with superior results. Manage small to medium project budgets and maintain accountability for expenses. Mentor global new talent by teaching IT knowledge and skills. Present work output in a clear and concise manner. Set IT best practices. Analyze business requirements to apply in application design. Design, write, and repair Java applications and APIs to fulfill business requirements. Develop and maintain existing applications and APIs running in local data centers and AWS cloud computing environments. Develop and test software to run reliably and efficiently. Examine existing code and recommend improved solutions. Review code submissions and document the deployment process. Participate in Agile development practices. Partner with business partners and analysts to complete assigned stories, tasks, and defect repairs. Resolve technical support issues in the production environment. Communicate with business partners to develop best-in-class technical solutions. Understand data flow between systems in order to enable solution design and bug resolution. Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
