• Responsible for global administration and support of the Microsoft SQL Server platform.
• Working closely with Assurant global teams in related technologies and platforms to support SQL Server infrastructure.
• Using the CapStorm data migration and synchronization utility for Salesforce.
• Using knowledge of Salesforce to be able to support data synchronization to SQL server.
• Using Internet Information Services (IIS) expertise to manage internally hosted web applications.
• Using expertise in Quip Salesforce Productivity Platform to allow for collaboration, planning and execution of Salesforce activities.
• Analyzing the data in Salesforce with SQL database using the SOQL queries.
• Configuring the Azure App services and provisioning the SSL Certificates.
• Configuring the SQL Master Database Services and Configuring the Validation rules.
• Using Service NOW Incident Management, Change Management and Configuration Management.
• Using Azure DevOps for project management and implementation.
• Providing direct technical support for all requirements in the planning, coordination, scripting, and implementation of upgrades or changes to our Microsoft SQL Server estate.
• Performing capacity planning, performance monitoring, tuning, and prediction.
• Providing high-level support for SQL Server systems, ensuring proper change management procedures and methodologies are followed.
• Participating in a daytime, on-call rotation to assist with incident handling for the purpose of resolving SQL related infrastructure issues.
• Providing technical assistance/guidance to less experienced administrators.
