Job Duties:
Design core software components and develop control plane logic primarily in Golang, along with data plane filtering logic in C/C++. Coordinate with other teams to deliver features end-to-end, participate in design and code reviews, and analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of various distributed cloud firewall components. Capable of completing small features independently without guidance, while proactively identifying and driving necessary product changes. Hybrid work schedule permitted.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a software development-related occupation.
Requires any experience with the following:
Engineering networking solutions utilizing protocols including TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, and DHCPv6; applying security for protocols including authentication and authorization mechanisms, firewall configurations, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and web application firewalls; managing databases and applying best practices in logging, auditing, and data validation; developing software using C++, Python, and Bash; applying object-oriented principles and implementing efficient data structures and algorithms; deploying and managing resources in cloud infrastructure, like AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or Alibaba Cloud; collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and test software.
Hybrid work schedule permitted. Salary $71,614.00-$165,000. Standard company benefits. 40 hours/week.
