Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience as a security engineer, systems engineer, or in a related occupation. Experience must include 4 years with each of the following: Network Security Appliances & Applications, Site-To-Site VPN, Client VPN, Encryption/Decryption methods, Content Filtering & Network Access Policies; attack methods & countermeasures; security logs including firewalls, proxies, & active directory; networking concepts including DNS, IP, NAT, VLANs, subnetting, & OSI Model; cryptography controls & underlying concepts to secure data; & web & network protocols including TCP, UDP, & HTTP/S.
