Complete all aspects of regulatory compliance testing, act as lead engineer on complex projects. Train other test engineers & test technicians. Test moderate to highly complex equipment. Ensure product meets IEC, EN, UL, CSA test standards. Prepare test development project quotes & proposals by assisting in defining customer technical requirements, test strategies & selecting test equipment. Establish & maintain professional relationship with customers. Liaise with other global labs to ensure consistency & accuracy of methods & interpretations. Document test results for correction actions, reports & audits. Analyze test data & determine expected outcome for tests. Identify & report all deviations. Maintain confidentiality of all client info.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering (or foreign equivalent) & 3 years of experience evaluating products in accordance with CB Scheme, CE & GS regulatory standards, including experience with IES, IEC, EN, UL, CSA & BIS. Brief domestic travel required.
