Requires: Bachelor's in Comp Sci, Computational Finance, Eng, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) & 4 yrs exp building large-scale ML-driven user-facing products. Or, alternatively, Master's in Comp Sci, Computational Finance, Eng, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) & 2 yrs exp building large-scale ML-driven user-facing products.
Must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") with state of the art ML modeling techniques and approaches for search including query understanding, ranking, retrieval, LLMs, and transformers. DE training and applying models at scale using deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface for model design, training and distillation. DE building bridge state of the art approaches to real world impact via extensive evaluation using offline metrics and online A/B tests for high traffic applications. DE serving as a tech lead for a cutting-edge engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional partners. DE coding in Java, C++ or Python and implementing production best practices of CI/CD workflows, monitoring, alerts and model inference pipelines.
