Precisely Software Incorporated seeks Senior Project Manager in Burlington, MA.
Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Work and consult with project managers in software development teams to analyze the design of software and/or SaaS solution, being responsible for maximizing value and defining scope that meets or exceeds the needs and expectations of clients. Ensure the Product Backlog is visible and transparent to all stakeholders, clearly stating the definition of done for all prioritized items. Work closely with the Internal SaaS Architecture, DevOps, SRE and Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to product vision and strategy. Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting the successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals. Help Scrum Masters to effectively manage workload and provide clear directions to shuffle priorities based on business goals and customer feedback. Ensure that scrum ceremonies such as backlog grooming, release/sprint planning and retrospectives take place and participate as required. Work closely with engineering team and guide them to use the Company's proprietary technologies and computer system tools. Be the SME of the SaaS, on-premises and cloud native Location Intelligence product by virtue of extensive knowledge of the product and domain expertise. Identify and monitor project risks and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation plans. Other duties assigned as necessary.
