Hagie Manufacturing seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Current Product in Clarion, IA.
Duties: Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, machinery, and quality. Support the Factory First mentality. Actively participate and take a leadership role in the continuous improvement process through innovations in safety & ergonomics, customer and process quality, efficiency and cost. Process audits & operator certification: ensure sequence of events documentation and operator methods sheets reflect the current method of manufacture. Support process flow improvements and develop assembly line designs utilizing Lean manufacturing strategies. Maintain routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations. Participate in team studies related to capacity, productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with PDP ME counterparts to ensure a successful program implementation.
