Thales DIS USA, Inc. seeks a Plant Controller in Montgomeryville, PA.
Duties:
- Perform monthly closing and reporting for manufacturing responsibilities,
- Prepare and/or review the accounting entries related to the manufacturing activity,
- Coordinate and prepare the budget for manufacturing scope (incl. Capex, Facilities, MIS)
- Variance analysis between actual and planned,
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis,
- Maintain and update the standard costing system, ensure the inventory valuation,
- Support BU controllers with the new product quotations,
- Prepare and validate local Capex (ROI/Payback calculation for fixed assets)
- Ensure compliance with Thales internal controls requirements,
- Participate in the development of the local policies, goals and long-range plans. Develop financial culture within Plant management
- Point of contact for external and internal auditors for questions related to manufacturing scope
