Will be responsible for focusing on addressing quality issues instantly as it pertains to Man/Method/Machine matters.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a directly related field plus 2 years of experience as manufacturing engineer or related occupation. The 2 years of experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) RCA/8D methodology for root cause analysis & corrective action; (2) SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software for product & tooling design; (3) DFMEA & PFMEA analysis for risk assessment & mitigation; (4) Lean manufacturing principles & implementation; (5) Statistical Process Control (SPC) & Minitab for data analysis; (6) Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement; (7) Quality Management Systems, including ISO 14001-2015, ISO 45001-2018, & ISO 50001-2018; (8) Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing; (9) inspection tools & equipment, including CMM, calipers, micrometers, & gauges; & (10) control plans & process audits for continuous improvement.
