Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP seeks Associate in NY, NY to engage in variety of legal activities related to law of employee benefits & executive compensation, including benefits issues connected with corporate takeovers, sales, & initial public offerings.
Requirements: JD or foreign equivalent & 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation: practicing Executive Compensation law; working on corporate legal transactions for domestic & international clients, including entity formation, joint ventures, private asset or equity acquisitions & public M&A transactions; drafting, negotiating & finalizing documents in connection with Executive Compensation transactions & agreements; conduct legal due diligence of executive compensation arrangements in connection with M&A transactions; conducting extensive legal research into questions of employee stock-ownership transaction & related issues; & reviewing purchase agreements & identifying material issues with respect to executive compensation & employee benefit aspects of M&A transactions.
Offered salary is between $390,000 & $435,000/year. 40 hours/week. Must be admitted to practice law in NYS. Telecommuting and/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
