Job Description: Plan, initiate, and manage the development of Bill's data platform and data capabilities. Enable teams to build new experiences with Bill's proprietary data assets. Define and evolve the strategy and roadmap for a best-in-class data tooling and infrastructure platform. Drive adoption and self-service across analytics, internal product teams, and operational functions. Evangelize and model data-driven development, data tooling and best practices to help teams across the company adopt domain expertise in data technologies and practices. Collaborate with feature teams across Bill to deliver and optimize data features for Bill's product portfolio, translating end user needs into technical requirements for data engineering stakeholders. Explore options to accelerate internal teams to push them forward while removing blockers. Understand the company's customer base, internal and external, to best drive in-class customer experience through data products. Champion a customer-centric mindset, uncovering and explaining internal and external user needs and pain points around data usage and consumption. Conduct competitor analysis and stay abreast of current market landscape in data technologies and AI of the data collected by different product groups at Bill. Being the go-to resource for Data Platform across the product organization. Telecommuting permitted.
Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or in related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills: 1. Work with machine learning algorithms and applications; 2. Understanding of product management or adjacent technical function; 3. Build and directly leveraging cloud data technologies, and A/B testing platforms; 4. Utilize technical fundamentals around data architecture, data modeling, ETL; and 5. Collaborate and communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Employment and background checks may be required. Salary: $179,171 to $279,700 per year.
