Duties include: Oversee all food preparation activities for casual dining restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine, include: inventory maintenance, supply ordering, cooking method standards, menu development, food handling, & record retention for health & safety compliance. Maintain accurate, up-to-date food & equipment inventories. Schedule & receive supplier deliveries. Coordinate schedules for kitchen staff. Monitor kitchen staff performance to ensure correct use of standard food preparation methods. Track menu items sold to determine menu item popularity. Maintain careful documentation for regulatory health & safety compliance. Assist with developing & modifying restaurant policies & standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency & consistency. Perform other, similar tasks as necessary.
Requirements: Must have at least 12 months of prior full-time experience as a restaurant kitchen manager or similar occupation related to the management of restaurant kitchen operations.
